报告题目：Tiny microRNAs in holistic environment: Role of microRNAs in angiomodulation and potential applications in environmental research

Biography of Dr. Patrick Y.K. YUE

Dr. Patrick Yue, current Faculty member from the Department of Biology, Hong Kong Baptist University. Dr. Yue received his PhD at the School of Chinese medicine in HKBU and his research is focused on the biomedical and pharmacological effects of herbal medicine and natural compounds. Particularly, Dr. Yue has studied the Panaxginseng mediated angiomodulation with collaborator from the University of Cambridge, UK, for more than ten years, and was firstly demonstrated the “yin and yang” actions of ginseng on angiomodulation by using modern technology and molecular approach. In recent, Dr. Yue has planned to extend his research interests on two aspects; one is the environmental research, in which, toxicological actions of environmental pollutants and the protective effects of natural compounds against pollutants are included. Second, is to develop the low-cost high-throughput cell motility study platform.
