果德安 教授简介

Prof. Guo serves as director of the State Engineering Laboratory for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Standardization Technology and as director of the Shanghai Research Center for TCM Modernization at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research has centered on TCM analysis, quality and metabolisms. He earned his doctorate in Pharmacognosy from Beijing Medical University in 1990, and pursued his postdoctoral studies in Texas Tech University. He has published more than 530 scientific papers to date, among which 330 papers were in SCI cited journals with over 5500 citations. Prof. Guo acted as the editor-in-chief of the 2010 English edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia. At present, he is Editor-in-Chief, associate editor, editor or editorial board member of 16 international scientific journals, including Journal of Ethnopharmacology, World J Traditional Chinese Medicine, etc. He is an expert committee member of the United States Pharmacopeia. Prof. Guo received the first National Natural Science Award in TCM field in China in 2012; American Botanical Council Norman R. Farnsworth Excellence in Botanical Research in 2012; Wujieping Medical & Pharmaceutical Innovation Award in 2013 and a number of other national or minister level awards.
